It’s taken me over a year to get it up here, but I’ve finally gotten around to adding my latest dreamboard to the blog. You may remember my previous dreamboards here and here. I used to get so wrapped up in making them perfect, that for about a year or two I didn’t make one at all because I was always in the process of making the next one total perfection. It was an important life lesson for me – if you sit and worry about making things perfect all the time, frequently you’ll end up with nothing to show for it. Sometimes you just have to go for it, if you want it to happen.
The most meaningful part of this last dreamboard is that I put “Get a Job” on it. I wanted to put “Get a job at WK” but didn’t because I was afraid of failing – believe me though, I knew what I’d meant it to say every time I looked at it. Here I sit 2 years later living in London with my dream job. You should never doubt yourself.
